Introduction
2022 year - 26th place 2023 year - 28th place The educational program B03602 Translation Studies was developed at the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Philology of the Shakarim University of Semey. The peculiarity of the educational program is developed on the basis of a competency-based model of training specialists, which meets the needs of the labor market and the requirements of employers. This model is a description of the key competencies of graduates, their level of preparedness and readiness to perform specific professional functions. The uniqueness of the educational program B03602 Translation Studies is to provide conditions for obtaining a full-fledged, high-quality professional education, professional competence in the field of translation. The sphere of professional activity of the graduate is: - administrative and managerial sphere; - the sphere of culture and intercultural communication; - the sphere of international relations; - the sphere of publishing; - the sphere of mass media; - information and analytical sphere and in other spheres. When implementing the educational program, it is planned to use artificial intelligence tools in the educational process, thereby developing digital competencies among students in a rapidly changing technological environment. The educational program provides for the education of a student with special educational needs in the conditions of a higher educational institution, as well as his socialization and integration into society.
The main criterion for the completion of the educational process for the preparation of bachelors is the development of students at least 203 credits of theoretical training, as well as at least 27 credits of practice, 12 credits of final certification. Total 240 credits.

The content of the disciplines of Module 2 contributes to the acquisition by students of basic knowledge of the main foreign language (English). After studying the disciplines of this module, students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in written and oral communication, assess the realities and national and cultural characteristics of the country of the studied language, argue and defend their own opinion.

Module 3. Theoretical foundations of the language being studied

The study of the disciplines of this module provides students with the opportunity to conduct grammatical, syntactic, morphological, contextual and etymological analysis of language units, integrate the acquired knowledge from various fields in the educational process.

Module 4. Professionally-linguistic

Learning outcomes for the module:

The professional language workshop promotes the development of communicative and intercultural competencies and the development of culturally appropriate strategies and tactics of speech communication in professionally oriented situations of a future translator. The main purpose of the training is the formation of intercultural and communicative competence and the improvement of the culture of foreign language speech communication of students-translators as subjects of intercultural interaction.

The disciplines in the module have a pronounced pragmatic and professional character. The aim is to form professionally oriented competencies of future translators as subjects of intercultural interaction through the assimilation of fundamental factors of a translator's professional activity.

The purpose of the disciplines of Module 6 is to enable students to master language tools within the framework of a professional communicative situation, to search, analyze and evaluate specialized information in English necessary for understanding and solving educational tasks.

With the development of economic cooperation with foreign countries, the possibility of translating texts in the field of economics and banking is of particular importance.The formation of fundamental knowledge, skills and competencies necessary for professional translators in the field of industry translation is the purpose of this module.

Module 8. Professional applied

The purpose of this discipline in the module is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of international cooperation who have the skills and abilities to organize international negotiations and cover international events in the format of news blocks.Students get acquainted with the basics of maintaining regulatory documentation and organizing news information, as well as focus on their translation.
