From April 15-19, 2024, Professor of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Historical Sciences Gulzhauhar Kakenovna Kokebayeva gave a series of lectures on topical issues of National and world history for students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the educational program "History". The professor also spoke about the methodology of writing scientific articles and conducting research, talked about the methods of searching journals in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, evaluating their index, ways to determine the quartile of CiteScore journals and assess its industry status.

The knowledge and experience gained by students during the lectures will contribute to improving the quality of scientific research of students of the ЕP "History".
