Master's student EP 7M01601-"History" took part in an international seminar
On October 24, 2024, in Almaty, the II International Workshop "Manuscript Collections in Kazakhstan: Preservation and Research" was held, organized by Nur-Mubarak University, the Center for the Study of Islamic History, Art, and Culture, and the Central Scientific Library of the National Academy of Sciences "The Horde of Science".
The seminar was attended by both domestic scholars and researchers from Austria, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia. During the meeting, relevant topics were discussed, including issues related to the preservation of manuscript heritage and their study.
Master's student Madiyar Nasirov, a junior researcher at the Research Center for "History and Archaeology" at Shakarim University, presented the topic “The Preservation of the 15th Century Manuscript of Hafizuddin Kerderi's “Fatawa al-Bazaziyya” and Other Manuscripts (Concerning the City of Semey)” of Preserving the 15th Century Copy and Other Manuscripts of Hafizuddin Kerdari 'Fatwa al-Bazaziya' (from the city of Semey)".
Undoubtedly, the issues raised during the seminar will be relevant to the academic community and will positively influence the future directions for the preservation and study of manuscript heritage.
