On November 12, 2024, as part of the 90th Anniversary of Shakarim University and National Currency – Tenge Day, the Higher School of Business hosted an open platform event titled "Developing Future Financial Experts’ Competencies: Lifelong Learning" during Finance Week.

Event Objectives:

• To instill patriotism and pride in the national currency – Tenge and the economic independence of Kazakhstan.
• To establish effective interaction between university students and those of Shakarim College.

Participants:

Students from the Higher School of Business, Shakarim College, and the School of Retraining participated in the event, where they discussed the history of the university, the unique features of the Tenge, and enhanced their knowledge of financial security.

Event Highlights:

• An exhibition titled "National Currency: Past and Present" was organized.
• A lecture on "Fundamentals of Financial Literacy" was delivered as part of the "Debt-Free Society" project.
• Engaging quizzes and discussions followed, strengthening the participants' knowledge.

The event provided a valuable opportunity for participants to deepen their knowledge, foster patriotism, and develop financial literacy skills.
