Introduction
The educational program "8D01601 History", implemented by the Department of History and Law of the Faculty of Humanities and Economics of Semey Shakarim University, was developed taking into account the needs of the regional labor market, the needs of employers, the study of the social order of society, taking into account the opportunities and needs of students, the potential of the department and the university as a whole. A distinctive feature of the educational program is that it is aimed at training highly qualified personnel in the field of world and national history with knowledge of the methodology and practical skills of historical and interdisciplinary research, capable of their implementation in analytical, research and teaching. The uniqueness of the educational program "8D01601 History" is that graduates will be able to demonstrate a systematic understanding of historical processes, skills in the practical application of methods of historical science, plan, develop, independently implement research projects, critically analyze new and complex ideas in the historical field of scientific knowledge, contribute to the progressive development of historical science.
The main criterion for the completeness of the educational process for the preparation of PhD doctors is the student's mastering of at least 45 credits of theoretical education, as well as at least 20 credits of practice (pedagogical practice - 10 credits, research practice - 10 credits), research work of a doctoral student - 123 credits, final certification - 12 credits. A total of 180 credits.
